In the book, ''The Last Olympian'' by Rick Riordan, when Nico, a powerful half-blood, tries to persuade his stubborn father, Hades, lord of the underworld, to help fight in the battle to save Mount Olympus against the Titans and Kronos, Hades refuses. He says he doesn't care what happens to Olympus. He thinks he is safe in his home in the underworld.
After countless amount of failures, Nico, decides to go help the half-bloods defend Olympus, even if his father won't come with him.If I could change anything about the book, I would change this particular scene. I believe that Hades should have gone right away to help the half-bloods in their battle. Even if Kronos doesn't invade the underworld, Kronos will destroy his throne in Mount Olympus. If he does so, Hades will already lose an immense amount of power because his throne id no longer.
Hades should have right away agreed to come with his son to help defend his partial home.
